Your 2026 Joplin RoadRunners Board
President of the Board Lori Thompson
Upon completion of her first term as a Board member, Lori will start her second year as President of the Board.
She will preside over Board meetings and special appointments.
Vice-President of the Board Paul Wright
After completing his first 2-year term as a Board member, Paul will start his second year as Vice President.
Paul will assume Lori's position and Board duties in her absence. He will also continue to act as the club's main timekeeper at our races.
Club Treasurer Kayla Griffin
Kayla was temporarily appointed in early 2025 and in December of that same year elected as the Club's Treasurer. Kayla handles accounts payable to various vendors, accounts receivable from members, RunSignUp accounts, and donor contributions.
Secretary of the Board Lisa Morris
Lisa will begin her second year as the club's Secretary. She will continue to be in charge of the monthly Board agenda, draft meeting notes and keep record of these notes once approved. Lisa is also her key person in contacts with national RRCA.
General Board Member Debbie Smith
As a 4th year Board member, Debbie is specifically in charge of our Calendar of Events, Board meeting arrangements, bi-monthly Club meeting venues & selection of featured speakers.
General Board Member Stephanie Durfee
In addition to her function as Board member, Stephanie is also our new key person to handle the Club's information distribution through social media.
General Board Member Bridget Stoner-Thomas
As a new Board member, Bridget will be also be leading some weekday group runs.
General Board Member Tom McKay
Tom is a second-year Board member.
In addition to this Board function, Tom will be specifically responsible for race equipment logistics: maintenance and transport of the Club's new trailer containing all race equipment.
Chief Executive Officer Henri Coeme
Two years on the Board, followed by four years as President, Henri will be occupying the newly created non-Board position of CEO of the Club for a second year: a near-full time position covering a number of functions. Henri will mainly act as Race Director for all our JRR-organized races, compose and edit the quarterly JRR Magazine, update the JoplinRoadRunners.com website, compose and distribute E-mail marketing notices to club members and to the larger Joplin running community, as well as handle Club and race attire Merchandising. Newly added functions will include pursuit of corporate donations, project grants and general networking.
Appointed Board Member Cristina "Titi" Jaramillo
Now in her 5th year as an appointed Board member, Titi is responsible for the design, creation and printing of all Club outfits, race shirts, special garment orders as well as design, creation and printing of all race awards and any other marketing material.

Mascot of the Club.
Responsible for nothing other than making a point that there is only one real "beast" in this Club.
Crazy about running and sings along with the National Anthem before every race.
Unstoppable (except under heavy gunfire, lightning and deer sightings).
