Your 2025 Joplin RoadRunners Board
President of the Board Lori Thompson
Upon completion of her first term as a Board member, Lori was recently elected as President of the Board.
As President she will preside over Board meetings and special appointments.
At our races, Lori will also continue to act in the capacity of Volunteer Coordinator.
Vice-President of the Board Paul Wright
After completing his first 2-year term as a Board member, Paul was elected, last December, as our new Vice President.
As VP, Paul will assume Lori's position and Board duties in her absence.
Paul will also continue to act as the club's main timekeeper at our races.
Treasurer of the Board Casey Grissom
Casey was re-elected in 2023 as the Club's Treasurer. She handles accounts payable to various vendors, accounts receivable from members, RunSignUp accounts, donor contributions, balance sheets and income statements of Club and races, Charity donations and RRCA membership and insurance. Casey will also be in charge of 501c3 fiscal and regulatory compliance reporting.
Secretary of the Board Lisa Morris
Newly elected, Lisa will begin her first term as the club's Secretary. She will be in charge of the monthly Board agenda, draft meeting notes and keep record of these notes once approved.
Lisa may be assuming additional duties as the year goes on.
Board Member Debbie Smith
As a Board member, Debbie is specifically in charge of our Calendar of Events, Board meeting arrangements, bi-monthly Club meeting venues & selection of featured speakers.
Board Member Anne Jiles
In addition to her function as Board member, Anne is also our key person to handle the Club's information distribution through social media.
Board Member Brian Spencer
As a Board member, Brian is also an alternate race Volunteer Coordinator.
Board Member Andrew McGinty
Andrew is one of our newly elected Board members and will focus specifically on representation of corporate donor interests
Board Member Tom McKay
Tom is one of our newly appointed Board members.
In addition to this function, Tom will be specifically responsible for race equipment logistics: maintenance and transport of the Club's new trailer containing all race equipment.
Chief Executive Officer Henri Coeme
Two years on the Board, followed by four years as President, Henri will be occupying the newly created non-Board position of CEO of the Club: a near-full time position covering a number of functions. Henri will mainly act as Race Director for all our races, compose the bi-monthly JRR Newsletter, update the JoplinRoadRunners.com website, compose and distribute E-mail marketing notices to club members and to the larger Joplin running community, as well as handle Club and race attire Merchandising. Newly added functions will include pursuit of corporate donations, project grants and general networking.
Appointed Board Member Cristina "Titi" Jaramillo
As an appointed Board member, Titi is responsible for the design, creation and printing of all Club outfits, race shirts, special garment orders as well as design, creation and printing of all race awards.
Miles
Mascot of the Club.
Responsible for nothing other than making a point that there is only one real "beast" in this Club.
Crazy about running and sings along with the National Anthem before every race.
